
Easy Steak ‘n Shake Garlic Double Steakburger

Ingredients
For the Burgers:
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 4 slices American cheese
- 2 hamburger buns
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter (for toasting buns)
For Garlic Butter:
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp parsley flakes
Instructions
1. Make Garlic Butter
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter, garlic powder, and parsley flakes. Set aside.
2. Form Burger Patties
- Divide ground beef into 4 loose balls (¼ lb each). Do not overwork the meat.
- Lightly season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook the Patties
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Place two meat balls onto the hot surface. Immediately press each down firmly with a spatula to create thin patties.
- Cook 1–2 minutes until the edges are crispy. Flip and top each with a slice of American cheese.
- Cook another 1–2 minutes. Stack two patties for each burger.
4. Toast the Buns
- Spread garlic butter on the inside of each bun.
- Toast buttered side down in a skillet over medium heat until golden brown (1–2 minutes).
5. Assemble
- Place the double-stacked patties on the bottom bun.
- Cover with the top bun. Serve hot.
